All data is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's built-in SwiftData framework. Your data lives inside the app's private container on your iPhone and is protected by your device's passcode and encryption.
There is no cloud storage, no server, and no backup to any external service operated by us.

The only internet connection the app makes is through Apple's StoreKit framework to process in-app purchases. No personal or health data is transmitted.
No. Since we never have access to your data in the first place, there is nothing to share. No data is sold, rented, or disclosed to anyone.
Youna is designed to be safe for users of all ages. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, the app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations. No account creation is required, and no identifying information leaves the device.
You can delete all your data at any time by deleting the Youna app from your device. When the app is removed, all locally stored data is permanently erased by iOS.
Youna offers an optional app passcode lock. Your passcode is stored securely in your device's Keychain, protected by iOS hardware encryption. The passcode never leaves your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app.
